Kelly Jones

Sports Nutritionist

Kelly is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics with a passion for educating and empowering others to maximize their performance and health. As a speaker, consultant, and nutrition coach, her expertise lies in performance nutrition, fitness club wellness programming, and corporate wellness. Kelly has been a faculty member at Bucks County Community College since 2010 where, in addition to teaching, she co-created the Exercise Science transfer studies program.

Kelly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science at the University of Connecticut where she also obtained a minor in Exercise Science. While there she competed on the Division I swim team. Kelly completed the dietetic internship program at the University at Buffalo where she also earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition with a concentration in Exercise Science. She created the University's sports nutrition program while there, working with the division I football, basketball, track and field, tennis and swim teams, and her thesis research studied the relationship between exercise and food choices.

In addition to her work interests, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling, competing in running races and triathlons, and practicing yoga.
